Northwood clubs celebrate Valentine’s Day at Katie Wheeler Library

Love was in the air when Northwood High School’s Key Club and Musicians United by Service and Entertainment (M.U.S.E.) held their Valentine’s Day storytelling event at Katie Wheeler Library on Saturday, Feb. 13.

M.U.S.E. members performed love songs while Key Club members read Valentine’s Day stories to the children. Key Club members read “Falling for Rapunzel” and “Valentine Cats” and helped kids make their own valentines.

Key Club president Sara Clayton, a junior, organized the event with M.U.S.E. president Priscilla Chang, a senior.
“[Sara and I] decided that it would be really fun to join [together] and sing for the kids,” said Chang.
